OK to Marytown

Oklahoma proved to be as inviting as the musical - with kind waitresses at home style diners and Christmas lights that easily championed any we have seen.

Missouri, poor Missouri is always in the dark ---- either from the piercing depth of night or the back of our eyelids. The night was momentarily lit up as we celebrated Max's birthday at Midnight ---- offering him ding dongs ablaze with 20 candles.  However, the morning proved spectacular. Mass at St. Louis Cathedral was memorable, and once the sun had risen the Arch was radiant against the blue sky.  The weather could not have been better!

We arrived in Marytown yesterday around 4:30pm, after 43.5 hours of travel... thank goodness for the rest in New Mexico, regardless of the adventure!  Everything is as beautiful as always, except perhaps the weather. However, the dark clouds and damp fog are not dampening anyone's spirits.  The day began with a talk on prayer and one on true joy.  Please keep the participants in your prayers as they journey with God and each other today and throughout the week.
