Let us not
allow ourselves to be robbed of the Gospel!
From the teaching of the
Holy Father (Evangelii Gaudium):
The word of God
constantly shows us how God challenges those who believe in him “to
go forth”… all of us are asked to obey his call to go forth from our own
comfort zone in order to reach all the “peripheries” in need of the light of
the Gospel. (EG n. 20)
God save us
from a worldly Church with superficial spiritual and pastoral trappings! This
stifling worldliness can only be healed by breathing in the pure air of the
Holy Spirit who frees us from being self-centered - cloaked in an outward
religiosity bereft of God. (EG n. 97)
From the Writings of St.
Maximilian:
Jesus has been calling you with
great love from the beginning of your life.
“Whoever wishes to come
after me must deny himself, take up
his cross, and follow me” [Mt 16, 24]: this is the essential condition.
In following Jesus, you must stand out for your constant and ongoing
self-denial. (KW 962)
Silence
St. Maximilian, in your life,
nothing and no one ever robbed you of the Gospel.

What is it that robs me of the Gospel in my life,
in my community?
