Waiting for Heaven?

Our Hearts are Restless. I use to think that this was an excuse for anxiety, nervousness, fear, lethargy, frustration, etc. After all, any lack on an emotional level is because we aren't in heaven yet, right?  So, I'm just doomed to restlessness until I die. And it's OK.

Oh, my friends, this is twisted thinking - all the more believable because of the element of truth. Heaven will be the perfection of our relationships. Heaven will the final satisfaction. Heaven is our hope and our inspiration. But....Why wait until heaven?

Rest in Him, NOW. God is with us, NOW. We were made for Him from the moment we were created, not to be tortured until death - but to rest and be with Him in always greater perfection. Your ETERNAL LIFE began when you were conceived. It is time to rest.

Rest in the Lord. Remain in the Lord. It is Good that we are here.
