"How can you commit yourself effectively in vocational ministry*?

With the testimony of joy, a joy that comes "from within," that is read in the eyes, the attitude, and then in words. (This is) the joy of one who knows that they possess the 'hidden treasure,' and the 'pearl of great price' and having acquired it does not regret renouncing everything according to the counsel of the Gospel."

Fr. Luigi Faccenda, OVS Volume 12, January 25, 1999

*Clearly Father is speaking here specifically of the vocation to the consecrated life as a Father Kolbe Missionary of the Immaculata. However, we know that everyone has a Christian vocation. What greater testimony can we give to the lost, lonely, confused, discerning, suffering, seeking, etc.... than the joy to belong to Him - first of all - by our baptism? ...the joy of total consecration to the Immaculata? ...and in our case (the Fr. Kolbe Missionaries) the joy of belonging totally to Him and graced with the call to live out the evangelical counsels?
